of USA Volleyball, which included the gold-medal-winning Olympic
team. In fact, the athletes reported that Pro-Bites™ were
an ideal snack because they taste great, are loaded with protein
and could be taken anywhere.
Whether you want to increase your lean muscle mass, participate
in marathons or are simply looking for more energy, it is vital
to incorporate a high-quality, complete protein source into your
daily diet. Soy protein deserves your attention for several reasons.
Not only does it provide performance advantages (build lean muscle
mass and improve muscle recovery), but soy protein has also been
shown to improve long-term human health in the areas of heart,
bone and kidney function.
Soy protein helps reduce fatigue after exercise and improves muscle
recovery. Also, soy acts as an anti-oxidant. Anti-oxidants neutralize
free radicals which are unstable compounds that develop during
normal metabolism and exercise. These free radicals may contribute

highest concentration of glutamine among protein sources. Glutamine
has been used in hospitals to speed muscle recovery and improve
maintenance of muscle mass during periods of starvation and infection.
